Iron Age, 800 bc -ad 43.
The Iron Age of the British Isles covers the end of the Bronze Age,around 800 bc to 43 ad. .The population of Britain grew substantially during this period and probably exceeded one million.This time saw native bronze and goldsmiths produce very high quality items ,ranging from . brooches, neck rings, mirrors, horse decorations and much more. I hope to show some good examples in the following pages.
